1. Overview
Slipet is a product-discovery and affiliate-link website. This template does not intentionally collect contact details through forms.
2. Information and browser storage
The demo admin uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage to save product listings, social links and a temporary demo sign-in state. This data stays in that browser and is not shared automatically with other visitors. Clearing browser data may remove it. This demo storage is not secure authentication.
3. Third-party links
When you follow an affiliate link, you leave Slipet and interact with the retailer or service. Their privacy policies, cookies, tracking and terms apply. Slipet does not control those sites.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
This starter template does not include a first-party analytics system. Fonts and Font Awesome are loaded from third-party CDNs, which may receive standard connection data. If you add analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking, update this policy and obtain consent where legally required.
5. Progressive web app and notifications
The website includes a service worker and install metadata for hosted PWA use. Notification permission is controlled by your browser. The included admin notification button is a local-device test, not a remote broadcast. If remote push notifications are added, explain what subscription data is stored and how it is used.
6. Children's privacy
Slipet may list products in a Kids category, but the site is not designed to collect personal information from children.
7. Security and retention
The browser-only admin is a demonstration, not a production security system. Do not place confidential information in it. Production deployment should use server-side access controls and a documented retention policy.
8. Changes
This policy should be reviewed and adapted to your actual hosting, analytics, affiliate networks and applicable laws before launch.
